Our design philosophy is simple; the best cable is no cable at all. This methodology created Slinkylinks; a cable different to all others. Slinkylinks are minimalist in design, compact, flexible and ideal for home installations.

Slinkylinks are the closest thing to no cable at all. The design and construction is optimised to deliver the best audio reproduction possible in your hi-fi and home theatre applications. Our unique air tube design delivers superior audio performance so that they do not harmonically interfere with the signal. You are left with lucid music that sounds simple and raw as it was performed in the studio.

To design and manufacture Slinkylinks, we focussed on three fundamental areas and developed our unique three-step approach to cable design and construction.
1. All Slinkylinks conductors are 96% insulated in air
2. All Slinkylinks cable uses 99.9999% pure silver conductors
3. Metal content is minimised to reduce harmful capacitance distortion

In a tangent from mainstream industry, Slinkylinks decided against using plastic as insulation and sought instead the far better dielectric qualities of air. Pure silver is excellent for carrying audio signals. Silver oxides, created through pure silver being exposed to air, are highly conductive. This means silver is an ideal metal to be use in conjunction with air insulation.

Connect up Slinkylinks and the first thing you will notice is the cleanliness of sound and a ‘black background’ – all background noise and distortion is removed. Bass is tight, punchy and easily followed with instruments displaying more weight and authority in recordings. Timing of the music is dramatically improved – low frequencies arrive at the same time as high frequencies. Slinkylinks simply step out of the way in your system allowing the source signal to flow unrestrained through your equipment.

R1 Series Interconnects
The original Slinkylinks interconnect and the first product we ever produced. The R1 series have fast become a classic and feature plenty of the benefits of the elite RS1 series. Expect increased accuracy in your system and a more balanced tonal response when compared to normally insulated cable. R1 interconnects are a great upgrade that can be easily retrofitted into any existing system. They will give your stereo a sound you never dreamed of. Slinkylinks R1 interconnects bring exceptional cable performance to a new affordable price.

The concept of passive control units replacing active line preamplifiers has existed for some time. Conventional passive preamplifiers have relied on resistive networks selected with a switch or rotary variable resistors. The fundamental problem with this type of device is substantial mismatches of impedance either at the source or the load, coupled with a perceived loss of dynamics.

RS1 Series Interconnects
The RS1 Series is Slinkylinks flagship RCA interconnect.

The RS1 series utilise an ‘all silver’ signal path. Imagine a pure silver sound signature which is highly revealing with no adverse sound ‘colouration’. In keeping with Slinkylinks design philosophy of producing ‘the closest thing to no cable at all’, pure silver produces a sound with close to no distortion at all.

XLR Series Interconnects
Slinkylinks XLR design adds a fifth conductor to deliver a balanced signal. Sound is identical to Slinkylinks RCA range; expect more accuracy in your system and a balanced tonal response. Slinkylinks XLR interconnects exhibit immaculate pace, rhythm and timing.

XLR cables generally will not sound any better than Slinkylinks conventional RCA’s. Balanced outputs generally yield a volume increase of between 3 – 6 dB depending on the internal schematics of your amplifier design.

S1 Speaker Cable
Put simply, the S1 design is luxury for your speakers. These are the benchmark for all audio speaker cable. Slinkylinks brings new realms of performance at a price that cannot be matched. Think of Slinkylinks S1 series as interconnects for your speakers. You will be amazed at the sonic gain to be had. Slinkylinks S1 series makes normal cable sound tired and bloated. All are cables are factory terminated and in set lengths only.

The S1 speaker cable uses twice as many conductors as our interconnect formula. The extra conductors help reduce impedance in the cable. This will improve sound over the longer lengths. Speaker leads carry more current than interconnects, and subsequently benefit from these extra conductors. Due to the construction of Slinkylinks, cables must come pre-terminated.

The S1 Series use a highly versatile hollow banana pin. It is the best performing banana pin connector we can find. Slinkylinks speaker leads can never be cut! The conductors will sever easily.

IBW Internally Bi-wired Speaker Cable
Slinkylinks IBW cable delivers you impressive sound through four separate cables in total. Each speaker benefits from having one independent cable for negative signals and another for positive signals. This approach guarantees a better earthing pattern in the crossover and reduces resistance.

The gain through bi-wiring fluctuates; with a well designed crossover the benefits will be smaller – but will still yield a valuable sonic improvement. With a lesser designed crossover the result will be more explicit. The improved earthing in the crossover generally creates more bass and openness in the top-end.

Running bi-wire leads assists in separating the tweeter and bass signals from each other, to deliver a clean and extended sound.
